Arkansas: Troy Kirtsinger reported finding a 1999-P Georgia quarter on Aug. 16. (added Aug 17)

California: Steve Demmer found three 1999-D Georgia quarters Aug. 17 in the fare revenues at his job with a transit agency in Los Angeles. (add Aug 19)

Colorado:  Michael Thomas of Denver reported receiving three 1999-D Georgia quarters July 25 at a nearby convenience store. He’s the first in the nation to report to Coin World about finding a Georgia quarter in circulation. (added July 26)

Kentucky: Yet another good reason to attend school! Karen Bruce reports finding two 1999-D Georgia quarters on the first day of school in Elizabethtown, Ky. The coins were part of her change from buying lunch in the cafeteria. (added Aug 10)

Maine: Jim Hughes received a 1999-P Georgia quarter in change from a food store in Augusta, Maine, on Aug. 16. (add Aug 19)

Maryland: Denis A. DeFord of Baltimore found her 1999-P Georgia quarter on Aug. 7 from her employer – a bank. (added Aug 10)

Massachusetts: Rob Haller found a 1999-P Georgia quarter in his change while buying coffee at the cafeteria at the COMPAQ Computer company in Maynard, Mass. (added Aug 10)

Michigan:  Todd Mannebach of Michigan received a 1999-D and a 1999-P Georgia quarter as part of a tip on July 23 (added July 30)

Minnesota: Tom and Jessica Seifert of Minnesota reported finding a 1999-D Georgia quarter on July 31. The husband and wife work at a food court in Edina, Minn., and a co-worker brought the coin to them wondering if it was a foreign coin. "When the other worker was asked if she was going to keep it, she said yes. We promptly offered to buy it from her for $1 and she then traded it to us for 25 cents." (added Aug 2)

Mississippi: Andy Williams of Rienzi, Miss., found a 1999-D Georgia quarter Aug. 11 at a local 5 and 10-cent store. He said he and his wife are putting together complete sets for their grandchildren so he's always happy when he comes across a State quarter. (added Aug 16)
