New Hampshire residents will quickly recognize the design used on their State quarter dollar - a mountain formation nicknamed "Old Man of the Mountain."

The state’s motto, LIVE FREE OR DIE, appears on the reverse design. The design also includes nine stars symbolizing New Hampshire as the ninth state to join the union.

The New Hampshire quarter dollar was the fourth of five coins released in 2000 and entered circulation in late summer.
